Civil War French Officer's Sword -
M1822 French officers sword made for the Civil War. It is a Foot Officers sword carried by lieutenants through captains.
Interesting blade as it has no "U.S." on the blade just a torch with nine stars and no eagle either. This sword came out of an estate sale
near Fredicksburg, VA and had been in the family ever since. Family name available to purchaser.

Heavy construction with very nice overall paint. Rough grey wool backing. Lettering and eagle glows in the dark as originals should.
Most of the fakes of these pieces are in aluminum. Steel ones are very scarce.

Nazi German Skyhook - Baumhaken device. This item was used to hang cable
from trees or buildings. It was issued to field phone Baukompanie groups.Marking on one side includes
2 Nazi eagles along with a circle and the number 43. Seems like a light stamping with possible "RZM"
marked above the 43. On the reverse is a number 2 stamping. Seldom seen piece of equipment.

Kokura Arsenal arsenal marking on blade. Hooked quillon design with wooden grips in good condition. Scabbard dent to the bottom from what looks like either a bullet or shrapnel damage. Blade intact.

U.S. M-1885 Helmet -
The M-1885 helmet replaced the M-1872 and would remain in use until 1902.
This example is from the 1st Cavalry Regiment. The helmet has intact sweat
band with helmet size tag. Made by Horst Mann and Co., but no date remains helmet body
is in excellent condition. A great example of a hard to find unit id'd helmet.
